K-2 Visa for Dependents of Finace(e)

Qualifications:
 A K-2 visa is available to minor children of K-1 visa holders.

Requirements:
 Dependent children of K-1 visa holders are considered K-2 nonimmigrants when accompanying the K-1 visa holder into the U.S.

Duration of Visa:
After the K-1 visa holder and U.S. citizen marry, an application for legal permanent residence for the K-1 visa holder and any K-2 dependent children can be made with the INS.
