L-2 Visa for Dependents International Employee with Special Skills

Qualifications:
 The L-2 visa is available to the spouse and children of an L-1 visa holder.

Requirements:
 The L-2 visa is issued to the spouse and unmarried children of an L-1 visa holder.  Each applicant must be able to show proof of the relationship to the L-1 visa holder by marriage certificate, birth ceritificate, etc. L-2 visa holders are not allowed to accept employment in the U.S.

Duration of Visa:
 An L-2 visa holder is admitted to the United States for duration of the supporting family members's L-1 visa.
